About Department

   Welcome to department of Commerce at ShriVyankatesh Arts, Commerce & Science College, Deulgaon-Raja, Dist. Buldana. Department of Commerce is established in the year 1967 from the establishment of ShriVyankatesh College by ShriBalajiSansthan in Deulgaon Raja. Department has 3 full time faculty members and one faculty on CHB. In the beginning year there was P.U.C. up to 1973-74 and then B.Com. I year was started in 1968. B.Com.II& B.Com. III were started from 1969, 1970 respectively. To make available the higher education facility for students in the rural area specially girls student department of Commerce has started M.com. from 2009-10. M. Com is a Non-Grant course. 28 students admitted in M.Com.Iyear for the academic year 2023-24.Two Ph. D. research centers started in commerce faculty.
   Presently two full time teachers and one CHB teachers are working under Commerce and Management Department. As there is a computer subject under the department, 15 computers are installed in computer lab for dissemination of knowledge and conducting practical.
   We are passionate about creating new knowledge in commerce and communicating this knowledge to our students. We motivate students to participate in workshops in State, National level seminar and conference. guest lectures, study tours and interview of successful businessman at local level are organized. Our three students have been successfully completed M.B.A. in marketing & finance respectively and got placement in campus interview. Our two students enrolled for Ph.D. Our one student passed C.M.A. foundation course in 4th merit from CMA chapter 5, Aurangabad. Our three students are Income-tax consultants at Deulgaon-Raja. Five students have completed LLM and 11 students completed LLB respectively. Our one student completed CA in 1978 and most student are at various post in Banking, LIC & Railway sector. Mostly students completed Tally programme and they got employment at local and outside area. The department of commerce conducted the workshop on Income-Tax, Digital India, MBA, SEBI, Make in India.

Objectives:

1. To promote innovation, entrepreneurship and competitiveness among the students.
2. To provide the knowledge of inflation and deflation, stock exchanges, demonetization etc.
3. To provide information and knowledge of successful businessman.
4. To provide an interactive communication platform for the education.
5. To integrate knowledge, skill and attitude that will sustain an environment of learning and creativity among the students.
