ACTIVITIES

   Physics is the search for and application of rules that can help us understand and predict the world around us. Central to physics are ideas such as energy, mass, particles and waves. Physics attempts to both answer philosophical question about the nature of the universe and provide solutions to technological problems. Physics deals with the fundamental forces of the universe and how they interact with matter looking at everything from galaxies and planets to atoms and quarks. To design programs for broad range of students through an easy understandable and effective method that enables them to integrate the knowledge into their normal thought processes. The department of Physics organise various activates in order to raise the knowledge of the students in the subject in which guest lectures on Astronomy and astrophysics, Electronics, nuclear physics, material science etc. Beside this department organise virtual lectures on various occasion like national and international science day form IIT’s and of various scientists.
   Department of Physics also conducts regular seminar for students on various topics related their syllabus for developing skill about teaching. It helps them to explore topics in more depth, to learn more about your subject and to develop skills of sharing their ideas.
   To develop communication skill and to increase confidence and to accept challenges about subject department of Physics regularly arrange group discussion programme. Department arranged Quiz competition for all students to motivate those interests in Physical science to developed knowledge to crack competitive exams like IIT-JAM, TIFR, BARC, DRDO ISRO and M.Sc. entrance test of various universities. Department releasing function of Wall Magazine regularly on Solar Energy, Bio-Gas Energy, Wind Energy and on various Scientists like Albert Einstein, C. V. Raman, Stephen hawking etc. to know there inventions, techniques, applications and awards.
   Department also offers a Mini project for B.Sc. III year student to develop his scientific ideas about in various field like solar energy, thin films, electronics, astrophysics and astronomy, nano-science, nano-particles etc. to helpful this in doing M.Sc. and getting jobs on the basis of projects. Students from physics department also take part in Science exhibitions, Avishkar, field visits every year.
   The department of physics also encourages student to take part in NPTEL courses. Also given the guidance on how to crack competitive exams, how to enter in national laboratories by exams, Job opportunity in physics.
