   In pursuance of UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations, 2015 read with Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions. (published in the Gazette of India dated 2nd, May 2016). Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is re-constituted to deal with the complaints relating to Sexual harassment in college.

Functions of ICC:

• ICC deals with complaints received from staff members and students. Based on the complaints, ICC carries out an enquiry, attempts to resolve the problem through counselling, recommends appropriate punitive action against perpetrators to the competent authority and provides assistance to the victims. The issues are dealt with diligence and with due confidentiality.
• Addressing issues concerning women's specific needs in college.
• Meetings with students, guidance about health and care, legal advice regarding the safety and security of female students and various workshops are organized.
• Organizes various activities such as lectures and discussions promoting gender equality and gender amity.
• Celebrates International Women's Day every year and on this occasion, lectures by women role models are organized.

  • Complain about it to the ICC coordinator.
  • Drop your complaint in the complaint box in the ladies’ common room.
