ACTIVITIES

   Commerce department organized various activities and co-curricular activities which summarized information is given below:-

Industrial visit:

   The commerce department organizes industrial visit of the commerce students at different places to give the practical knowledge of commerce based on theoretical concept.Due to the interview of business tycoon’s students get knowledge of production, economical balance sheet, marketing etc. In view of this the students get practical knowledge of it.Commerce department conducted the visit at industrial sector of Matsodari cooperative Cotton mill Ghansawangi Dist. Jalna., Sandip Industry Pvt. Ltd. Aurangabad, Abhijeet Graphics, Deulgaon Raja, Vyankatesh Ginning and Pressing Plant at Deulgaon Raja, Janta Seva Mirch Masala Plant at Deulgaon Raja.

Income tax workshop:

   Income tax is the important factor for every person and business. Every year income tax guidance workshop is organized in the college for practical lab sessions of Commerce department due to this the students get knowledge of changes in laws of income tax by the income tax officers and they also clears the student’s doubt. The Income Tax officer Sau. RupaDhande and Shri. ArunAghashe from Akola has given the detailed guidance in the workshop for this current year.

Guest lecture for banking sector:

   The Commerce Department gives the practical experience of opening an account in the banks, removal of D.D. ,RTGS writing ,mobile banking, net banking, ATM transactions, Cheque writing , check clearing under commerce lab practical activity through teaching.
   Dr. Vinod Bansile conducted the practical session in the Computer lab for teaching the net banking and mobile banking to the students.Prof. Narendra Shegokar taught the students regarding How to open bank account? How to fill the D.D. slip? He also taught students about RTGS form filling, Cheque writing etc. with practical execution.

Survey Program:

   Hon. Satish Tayde guided the Commerce students regarding the study of demands of products in market, study of customer choice, use of survey methods for understanding the customer economical conditions at City Council Town Hall. He also guided the students through practical about questionnaire making, filling the questionnaire, Analysis demonstration, conclusion finding on that basis etc. Students performed the survey on different topics.

Cottage and small scale industry:

   Cottage and small scale industry visit are organized for the Commerce Students to which industries can be established in fewer budgets. Prof. Vinod Bansile of faculty of the Commerce department and students visited to “Vermi Composting “organic vegetable farming centre” of Shri. Vitthalrao Fakirba Wagh at Pangari. He invested only Rs. 10000 for his project and earns income of 3 to 4 Lakhs per year.
